How they match up
Latest from the Husky Football & Basketball blogs
A few late-night notes --- Cox gets a new job, UW QB class lauded and more NEW - 2/09, 11:32 PM
Oregon live game thread NEW - 2/09, 06:41 PM
Washington (3-4, 2-2); Oregon (5-1, 3-0) Time: 12:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium
TV: Ch. 4 Radio: 950 AM The line: Ducks by 10
At stake: First place for Oregon, the only unbeaten team left in Pac-10 play. Pride for UW, which has lost five in a row to Ducks.
What to expect: Oregon to test the Huskies with the run, UW to test Oregon with the pass. The Ducks have statistically the best rushing attack in the Pac-10, while UW is ninth against the run. Oregon's weakness may be an injury-riddled secondary.
Notes: Oregon has won five in a row since a 19-8 loss to Boise State to begin the season. ... UW has won three in a row at home, its best stretch since the first three games of the 2006 season.
Injuries: UW — DT Cameron Elisara (stinger), FS Justin Glenn (leg), WR Jordan Polk (knee), LG Greg Christine (leg) out; SS Victor Aiyewa (shoulder) probable. Oregon — CB Walter Thurmond III (knee), CB Willie Glasper (knee) out; S T.J. Ward (ankle) questionable; QB Jeremiah Masoli (knee), WR Jamere Holland (knee) probable.
Prediction: Washington 31, Oregon 28.
