WSU 78, UW 71, Jan. 7, 2006: Cougars rallied from a 13-point first-half deficit at Edmundson Pavilion behind the 27 of Josh Akognon, who hit a tiebreaking three-pointer with 17.8 seconds left. Brandon Roy had 27 for UW, but no other Husky scored more than 12.

WSU 77, UW 64, Feb. 4, 2006: On the day before the Seahawks played in the Super Bowl, the Huskies took an early 11-point lead in Pullman only to see the Cougars dominate the second half with center Aron Baynes scoring all 13 of hits points after the break. UW hit only 19 of 59 shots.

WSU 75, UW 47, Jan. 20, 2007: The Huskies learned shortly before tipoff that Spencer Hawes would be out with a sprained ankle and played like a team that figured it didn't have a chance. WSU led 34-23 at halftime and cruised behind 20 points from Derrick Low.

WSU 65, UW 61, Feb. 14, 2007: It was a one-point game with 23 seconds left when UW guard Justin Dentmon missed on a drive to the hoop, and the Cougars then put the game away at the foul line. UW missed its last eight shots, none taken by Hawes, who was unable to get a shot the last six minutes. Taylor Rochestie had one of his first big games for WSU with 16 points.

WSU 74, UW 64, March 8, 2007: The game was tied with just over six minutes left before the Cougars closed with an 18-8 run, hitting 13 of 16 free throws. Rochestie led the Cougars with 20 points.

WSU 56, UW 52, Jan. 5, 2008: Huskies led by three with just over six minutes left, but the Cougars outscored them 11-4 the rest of the way. UW hit 2 of 6 free throws during that run and 5 of 13 for the game.

WSU 76, UW 73 (double overtime), March 8, 2008: In another tight game featuring 10 ties and nine lead changes, neither team led by more than six. Robbie Cowgill forced ties at the end of regulation and the first overtime, and the Cougars took a six-point lead in the second OT and held on when a long Ryan Appleby three-point attempt fell off at the buzzer. UW's Jon Brockman suffered a sprained ankle with 1:56 left in the second OT and didn't return.
