At stake: Oklahoma has national-title aspirations and needs to win every game to make that happen. Washington would fall to 0-3 with a loss for the first time since 2004. A big defeat would also ratchet up the heat on coach Tyrone Willingham.

What to expect: UW quarterback Jake Locker is again healthy, so expect a full dose of all he can do. Huskies also figure to get creative on offense as the young skill players have another week of experience. Oklahoma likes balance, but given UW's issues in the secondary, the Sooners might try to pass more than usual to take advantage of a fleet group of receivers. Defensively, expect Oklahoma to bring pressure more than either of UW's first two opponents. Huskies are likely to again incorporate some of the 3-4 defense they showed against BYU.

Notes: This is Oklahoma's first visit to Seattle and just the third meeting of the two schools. The series is tied at 1, UW memorably winning the 1985 Orange Bowl, 28-17, and OU winning in Norman in 2006, 37-20. This is the conclusion of a two-game series between the schools beginning with the 2006 game. ... Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops was a safety on the Iowa team that lost the 1982 Rose Bowl to UW, 28-0. ... OU has scored at least one touchdown in every game since Nov. 7, 1998. ... UW is 21-19-2 against current members of the Big 12. ... UW is 2-11 in its past 13 games after a 2-0 start to begin the 2007 season. ... UW is 1-6 in its past seven games at home. ... Willingham is 76-78-1 as a college coach and 11-27 at UW. ... Stoops' OU teams are 27-11 on the road, 99-22 overall, since he took over in 1999. ... OU's offensive line has 116 career starts.

Injuries: UW — RB Chris Polk (shoulder) out for season; S Jason Wells (knee), S Darin Harris (concussion), CB Byron Davenport (ankle) out; TE Michael Gottlieb (hamstring), RB Brandon Johnson (calf), S Nate Williams (illness) probable. Oklahoma — WR Brandon Caleb (foot), SS Quinton Carter (knee) questionable.

Prediction: Huskies will need to take advantage of every opportunity early to put some pressure on the Sooners and stay in it. Regardless, the guess here is that the Sooners eventually cruise. Oklahoma 44, UW 20.
