Hometown: Newhall, Calif. (Hart).
Major: Sociology.
This is your fourth training camp here. How does this one compare to the others? "I've been here three years now with coach Willingham and they just keep getting tougher and more intense. The expectations are rising and the bar of excellence is higher."
What are your thoughts on the fact that your younger brother Delano, a senior running back/defensive back, recently committed to Stanford? " It more or less didn't surprise me. He's been talking about going to Stanford since before high school. ... But he's still got a whole season to go so nothing is set in stone. "
What are your thoughts on being acknowledged as one of the leaders of the team? "It's not so much of a pressure thing, just that it's my time to lead. It's kind of something I have prepared myself for well and just kind of flowed into it."

What happened: The Huskies had their second two-a-day of camp, going in full pads in the morning and lighter in the afternoon.
Got milk? The Huskies received national publicity last week for a new training regimen that features each player being required to drink one small carton of fat-free chocolate milk after every practice (except for those who are lactose-intolerant). Coach Tyrone Willingham said he read during the offseason about the benefits of drinking chocolate milk as a way to replace lost carbohydrates after practice and along with the training staff, decided to give it a try.
Gold standard: Senior WR Corey Williams wore the gold jersey for the second straight practice day, symbolizing his solid performance in workouts to date. Williams highlighted a sometimes sluggish morning practice Monday with what offensive coordinator Tim Lappano said "was as good a catch as I've ever seen. He just laid out and made a big-time catch."
Injury report: DT Wilson Afoa wore red in the afternoon with an undisclosed injury. WR Marcel Reece is battling leg cramps and pulls but has continued to practice. CB Byron Davenport has yet to return fully from a hamstring injury last week but suited up. K Erik Folk, battling back spasms, was able to handle a kickoff, his first action of the fall.
Saturday practice open: Willingham announced that Saturday's practice, set for 2:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium, is open to the public.
