FOR MORE INFORMATION about recalls and safety alerts for everything from car seats to food to household products, see the Web sites below:About 95,000 Majestic High Chairs made by Evenflo of Miamisburg, Ohio, because they pose a hazard for children when parts come loose and the seat backs fall off.
There have been dozens of reported injuries such as broken bones and head bruises. Evenflo said it had received more than 1,000 reports of plastic caps and screws falling off the high chairs and 140 reports of the seat backs reclining or detaching.
The high chairs, made in China, were sold nationwide at juvenile product and mass merchandise stores, including Toys "R" Us, Babies "R" Us, Burlington Coat Factory and Shopko, and online at walmart.com from January 2006 through May 2007.
The following model numbers are on the seat back: 3001395A, 3001583, 3001633A, 3001669, 3001700A, 3001713, 3001713A, 3001730A, 3001732, 3001732A, 3001733, 3001742, 3001742A, and 3001756.
"Evenflo" is printed on the label and on the push button on the front of the tray.
