ShopSmart, a new publication from Consumer Reports, gives a quick read on what to buy — or not. Topics in the first issue (on newsstands through Oct. 31) include wine, refrigerators, digital cameras, organic products and cars. Just like its parent magazine, ShopSmart doesn't accept ads, and it tests all of the products. $4. On newsstands.
