The Seattle Thunderbirds fell to the Kamloops Blazers, 3-1, in a Western Hockey League game Saturday at the ShoWare Center.
KENT — The Seattle Thunderbirds fell to the Kamloops Blazers, 3-1, in a Western Hockey League game Saturday at the ShoWare Center.
Colin Jacobs scored at 7:26 of the first period to put the Thunderbirds (18-31-1-1) on the board.
Kamloops tied the score with a goal from Brandon Ranford at 13:22 of the first, and took the lead on Cole Ully's goal with 20 seconds left in the second period.
The Blazers capped the scoring with an empty-net goal by Tim Bozon with 43 seconds left in the third.
Calvin Pickard made 40 saves for the Thunderbirds, who have lost five straight.
