KENT — Kelowna scored four goals in the second period for a 4-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds at ShoWare Center on Sunday night.

The T-birds led 2-1 after Cason Machacek's goal at 5:59 of the second, but the Rockets (22-23-2-4) answered with three consecutive goals by Cody Chikie, Colton Sissons and Brett Lyon.

The T-Birds (18-28-1-1) cut Kelowna's lead to 4-3 at 3:19 of the third period on a goal by Luke Lockhart, who scored from the seat of his pants. Chance Lund scored Seattle's other goal.

Calvin Pickard made 40 saves for Seattle, and Jordon Cooke had 25 for Kelowna.
