Former NHL coach Craig Hartsburg now in charge of Everett Silvertips
The Everett Silvertips have hired veteran NHL coach Craig Hartsburg as the new head coach of the junior-league team.

EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips have hired veteran NHL coach Craig Hartsburg as the new head coach of the junior-league team.
Hartsburg was introduced on Tuesday. He makes the move to junior hockey following his firing last February after 48 games with Ottawa. He coached the Blackhawks from 1995-98 and in Anaheim from 1998-2001. His career NHL record in 201-208-69-13 record.
Hartsburg also coached the Guelph Storm and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the junior Ontario Hockey League, and led Canada to consecutive gold medals at the 2007 and 2008 world junior championships.
Hartsburg played in 570 career NHL games for the Minnesota North Stars and was a three-time All-Star selection.
