MOOSE JAW, Saskatchewan — Moose Jaw Warriors goaltender Jeff Bosch made 27 saves Tuesday night to lead the Warriors to a 3-0 shutout of the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The T-birds are 3-2-0-1 on their seven-game road trip. Ian Duval put the Warriors in front 1-0 when he scored at 1:31 of the first period. Joel Broda scored an unassisted short-handed goal at 13:15 of the first to make it 2-0.
Calvin Pickard replaced Jacob DeSerres in the Seattle net to start the second period. DeSerres (3-6-0-0) made four saves on six shots
Riley Reinbolt made it a 3-0 Warriors lead at 16:13 of the second period.
Seattle (9-12-1-2) outshot the Warriors (7-14-0-1) 27-23 in the game.
