Spokane trips Tips in OT shootout, 4-3

EVERETT — The Spokane Chiefs scored a pair of shootout goals to one for the Everett Silvertips and won a Western Hockey League game Wednesday night at Comcast Arena, 4-3.
Ondrej Roman, the third man in the overtime shootout for Spokane, scored on his attempt for the winner. The Tips' Shane Harper had a chance to continue the shootout but missed his shot.
Harper scored two goals for Everett (34-25-0-3), which rallied from a 3-1 deficit to tie the score on Harper's power-play goal in the third period.
The Tips are sixth in the WHL Western Conference.
