T-birds roll to 6-1 win over Prince George

Prab Rai and Greg Scott scored two goals each, leading the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 6-1 win over the Prince George Cougars Wednesday night at KeyArena.

Seattle (33-20-5-2) has outscored Prince George 11-2 in the two meetings between the teams this season.

David Richard opened the scoring for the Thunderbirds, who jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one period with goals from Scott and both of Rai's tallies. Ian McKenzie completed the T-birds' scoring with a second-period goal.

Riku Helenius had 19 saves for Seattle, which moved one point away from fourth-place Kelowna in the WHL's Western Conference.
