Tuesday's boys HS hoops highlights
I was out at the Sea-King 3A District Tournament Tuesday night and I was really impressed with O'Dea. The Irish are playing as well as anyone right now. It's going to be fun to watch them play Rainier Beach tomorrow at Bellevue College.
Here's my story, which features Rainier Beach's win over Bellevue and includes a note on O'Dea's win over Mercer Island.

West Central/Southwest 4A Bi-District Tournament
Evergreen (Vancouver) 74, Kent-Meridian 71 2 OT
Arman Brar finished with 24 points and Martel Taylor-Barone added 16, but it wasn't enough against Evergreen.
The Royals missed a desperation, potential game-tying shot at the end of the second overtime.
Caleb Dressler scored a game-high 35 points for Evergreen.
Mount Rainier 59, Central Kitsap 38
Mount Rainier forced 32 turnovers, turning what was a two-point game at halftime into a rout.
Curtis 56, Rogers 37
Darius Johnson-Wilson finished with 18 point and 13 rebounds to lead Curtis past Rogers.
Federal Way 71, Beamer 59
Brayon Blake erupted for 27 points in Federal Way's win over Beamer. Roosevelt Jones scored 24 for the Titans.
Kentwood 63, Battle Ground 53
Austin Benson and Jeremy Smith scored 14 points apiece in Kentwood's win over Battle Ground.
West Central/Southwest 3A Bi-District Tournament
Lincoln 92, Lakes 85 OT
Lincoln outscored Lakes, the defending 3A state champions, 15-8 in overtime to end the Lancers' season.
Tri-District 1A Tournament
King's 41, Cascade Christian 34
James McCutchen scored 15 points and Caleb Taylor added 12 in King's win over Cascade Christian.
Seattle Christian 57, Chimacum 38
Cody Miller scored a game-high 27 points in Seattle Christian's win.
Bellevue Christian 53, Life Christian 40
Bryce Oldham scored 16 points and Nick Schubert added 13, helping Bellevue Christian beat Life Christian.
Northwest 3A District Tournament
Shorecrest 58, Shorewood 41
Emmanuel Chibuogwu Jr. (21 points) and Keith Shattuck (19 points) combined for 40, helping Shorecrest knock off Shorewood.
Northwest 2A District Tournament
Cedarcrest 76, Anacortes 60
Cedarcrest knocked off No. 7 Anacortes, advancing to the Northwest 2A District championship game Saturday night at Mount Vernon.
Zach Taylor scored 27 in the win.
