Thursday's boys HS hoops highlights
I was out at Bellevue College Thursday night to watch the KingCo 3A title games.
Lake Washington took the boys title and looks to in good position to make a deep playoff run. If the Kangaroos start shooting the ball well -- look out.
Here is a look at the rest of Thursday's high-school boys basketball action.
Emerald City League Tournament
Bellevue Christian 41, Seattle Academy 40
Seattle Academy's Jeremiah Hobbs scored a game-high 17 points, but it wasn't enough against Bellevue Christian, which pulled out a one-point win.
Bryce Oldham scored 11 points to lead Bellevue Christian.
Metro League Tournament
Chief Sealth 52, Bainbridge 44
Charlie Smith scored a game-high 22 points to lead Chief Sealth past Bainbridge.
Chris Bell led Bainbridge with 21 points.
Nathan Hale 66, Eastside Catholic 62
Five Nathan Hale players finished with at least nine points in a win over Eastside Catholic.
Destin Kawaka led the Raiders with 17. Joey Schrieber scored a game-high 23 points for Eastside Catholic.
Rainier Beach 70, Seattle Prep 55
Marquis Davis scored 21 points and Anrio Adams added 18, helping Rainier Beach bounce back from its loss to O'Dea in a win over Seattle Prep.
D.J. Fenner scored 18 to lead Seattle Prep.
