4A and 3A girls hoops rankings -- Week 11
Let the real fun begin!
It's playoff time, or close to it, for girls basketball leagues around the state, and I can't wait to see how everything plays out.
The big news last week in Class 4A was top-ranked Central Valley's upset loss to 3A Shadle Park, which is surging. Mount Rainier, the lone remaining unbeaten team in 4A, takes the top spot this week. I'm not dropping CV too far, just down to No. 4.
Emerald Ridge falls out after losing to Federal Way, but rather than put the Eagles back in the top-10, I'm going with Inglemoor, which took No. 6 Woodinville to overtime on Saturday before losing.
In 3A, there is only some shuffling. Franklin takes its 12-game win streak up to No. 4. University of Spokane slides from No. 5 to No. 10 after losing to Ferris. Sure, Ferris is a 4A team, but has a 6-12 record. The Titans have beaten Shadle twice, so still hangs in the rankings.
