4A and 3A boys hoops rankings -- Week 11
For one of the few times this season, the Class 4A rankings didn't change much.
The top seven teams took care of business last. I was particularly impressed by Garfield, which has won six straight, including four wins in five days last week.
Curtis jumps from No. 10 to No. 8, while Snohomish and Kentwood fall out this week. Jackson climbs into the top 10 for the first time this year, while Mount Rainier seems to have figured things out and re-enters the rankings.
In 3A there were some big upsets last week. Seattle Prep fell to O'Dea and Shorewood knocked off Mountlake Terrace.
Because of those games, Seattle Prep falls from No. 2 to No. 4, Mountlake Terrace hangs onto the No. 3 spot, and Kamiakin is the new No. 2.
Wilson (No. 7), Shorewood (No. 9) and Decatur (No. 10) all climbed into the rankings this week. O'Dea opens the Metro League playoffs against top-ranked Rainier Beach Tuesday. If the Irish can pull off another upset, they will be ranked next week.
