Class 4A and 3A high-school football rankings -- Week 4

One ranked team in each classification lost this week, so there weren't many changes that needed to be made.
However, I struggled to fill the final spot in the Class 4A rankings.
I wasn't sure how much Issaquah's second-half struggles should cost the Eagles. I wasn't sure how to rank Lake Stevens', Arlington's and Woodinville's undefeated starts. I wasn't sure if Skyview's 31-10 win over Camas -- ranked No. 5 in 3A last week -- was enough to get the Storm back into the rankings with a 2-2 record.
Heading into this week's showdown -- the Eagles and Vikings play Friday -- Arlington (45 points per game) and Lake Stevens (44.25 points per game) are putting up similar scores offensively. And Woodinville knocked off Mount Si, ranked No. 10 in 3A, to open the season.
The Falcons play Bothell Oct. 7, and the winner of that game could be headed for the KingCo 4A title game if the Cougars get past Inglemoor this week.
Then there's Skyview. The Storm lost its first two games, before winning the next two. The win over Camas is impressive, but it's not quite enough to get Skyview back into the rankings.
All of these teams have a strong case to claim a spot in the rankings. The same could be said about Davis, after knocking off Richland, 34-27 in overtime and Bethel -- 3-0 after a Week 1 loss to Permian (Odessa, Texas) on the road. The Braves play Federal Way this week, which should be a good gauge of where they're at as a program.
So, after going back and forth, debating with myself for longer than I'd like to admit, I settled on Woodinville. The Falcons are a group that has been building for this season with a good group of seniors. The same can be said for some of the other teams in this group, but helping Woodinville's cause is a defense that has only given up 17 points all season, posting two shutouts.
With so many teams on the verge of a spot in the rankings, I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few more changes as the season goes on.
In 3A, there is only one change. Since Camas fell to Skyview, the Papermakers drop two spots to No. 7, allowing Meadowdale and Peninsula to move up one spot.
Kennewick is making a case to slip into the top 10 after playing fourth-ranked Kamiakin tough, falling 14-6.
