2009 Les Schwab BC Christmas Classic updates

Girls
3rd-4th place
Holy Names 71, Hazen 27
Claire Conricode finished with 22 points, two rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead Holy Names to a 71-27 victory over Hazen.
Erika Johnson added 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Cougars. Michelle Wnek led Hazen with eight points.
Boys
7th-8th place
Kentlake 53, Bellevue Christian 47
Mike Salazar finished with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Tyler Wright scored 11 in Kentlake's 53-47 victory over Bellevue Christian.
Jake VandenBrink scored a game-high 18 points to go with 14 rebounds for the Vikings.
Boys
5th-6th place
Monroe 42, South Kitsap 40
Joey Roppo hit 3 of 4 from the three-point line and finished with 13 points to lead Monroe to a 42-40 victory over South Kitsap.
Nars Martinez led the Wolves with 14 points. Preston Love added 11 points for the Bearcats.
Girls
Championship
White River 49, Issaquah 43
Tournament MVP Brooke Paulson scored a game-high 15 points, including the final seven points of the first half, helping White River, No. 8 in 3A, knock of Issaquah, No. 7 in 4A, 49-43.
Paulson also pulled down six rebounds, while Kelsi Tyler and Sabra Sproul each added nine.
Maddey Pflaumer led Issaquah with 12 points and six rebounds. Brooke Miller also scored 12 points for the Eagles.
Three-point contest
Aaron Bright (Bellevue) and Airashay Rogers (Hazen) won the three-point contest as the girls and boys competed in a two-person team format.
Boys
3rd-4th place
Inglemoor 57, Bothell 51
Andy Nwaelele scored a game-high 25 points, helping Inglemoor hold off Bothell, 57-51.
Michael Hartvigson finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Cougars, while Kyle McAllister added 18 points and seven rebounds.
Jerry Molina scored 11 points for the Vikings.
Boys
Championship
Bellevue 57, Squalicum 50
Aaron Bright scored a game-high 31 points -- he hit 5 of 8 three-pointers -- to lead Bellevue to a 57-50 victory over Squalicum.
Nate Sikma added 10 points for the Wolverines. Michael Greene led the Storm with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Patrick Voeut added 13 points and Caleb Thompson scored 11.
