Bellevue names Jordan Nilsen baseball coach

Bellevue High School athletic director Brian Hercules announced Tuesday that Jordan Nilsen is the school's new varsity baseball coach.
"I'm honored that the BHS athletic department has provided me with the opportunity to coach my alma mater," Nilsen said in a press release. "I have a lot to learn about coaching KingCo baseball. Fortunately, I'm surrounded by an experienced coaching staff. I am eager to start working with an ambitious high-school group and begin building strong relationships with local youth programs."
Nilsen was a captain for the Wolverines in 1995 and then moved on to play outfield at Washington State in 2000 after beginning his collegiate career with two seasons at Lassen Junior College. He played his junior season at Southern Mississippi.
