One more game for Tyee, Evergreen tonight

Posted by Sandy Ringer

Tyee and Evergreen didn't get to play their Seamount League game earlier this season because Tyee did not have enough eligible players.

Tonight at Highline Stadium, they'll have their shot -- although it will not count in the Seamount League standings as the original forfeit will stand. This is just a nonleague game.

For both teams, it's the chance to experience victory on the field for the first time this year. Tyee is 0-8, with three losses by forfeit (and one bye). Evergreen is 1-8, with the lone victory the forfeit from Tyee back on Sept. 25.

I think it's great the Highline School District is letting the teams play and hopefully some fans will get out there tonight to support them. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
