Bishop Blanchet wrestler Peterson Johnson, Mount Rainier gymnast Baylee Hamilton and the Snohomish boys wrestling team are Stars of the Week for Jan. 29-Feb. 4.

Peter Johnson
Bishop Blanchet wrestling
Johnson, a senior, pinned all three opponents and didn't give up a point in winning the 195-pound title at the Metro League subregional. He was named the tournament's most outstanding wrestler. Johnson has not lost to an in-state opponent this season.
Baylee Hamilton
Mount Rainier gymnastics
Hamilton, a senior, scored a season-high 37.375 all-around to help lead the Rams to an upset team victory at the SPSL 4A championships. She won bars with a 9.025 and placed second on both floor (9.55) and beam (9.525). She scored 9.275 on vault.
Snohomish boys wrestling team
The Panthers, coached by Rob Zabel, won the WesCo 4A subregional title in convincing style with 404 points, upsetting third-ranked Lake Sevens (305). Snohomish got top-eight finishes from 22 wrestlers, advancing 18 to regionals.
