Surging Franklin beat fourth-ranked Cleveland 64-58 Wednesday night for the Quakers' 11th consecutive girls basketball victory, tying the Eagles for the Metro League Valley Division lead.
Janee Lewis led players in double figures for the seventh-ranked Quakers (15-3 overall, 13-1 Metro) with 20 points.
Makayla Roper scored 19 for Cleveland (16-3, 13-1).
Other highlights
• Raven Benton had 21 points and 12 rebounds as unranked Federal Way (15-3, 13-1) hammered No. 8 Emerald Ridge 65-43 in a clash of SPSL 4A South leaders. Taylor Buie scored 23 for Emerald Ridge (15-2, 12-2).
• Katie Goddard scored 18 and Brooke Pahukoa 16 as fourth-ranked Lake Stevens beat Marysville-Pilchuck 58-32 in the WesCo 4A North. No. 3 Stanwood (18-1, 13-1) kept pace with the Vikings (18-1, 13-1) atop the division by beating Snohomish 56-41.
• Kristin Stoffel's 15 points led No. 6 Jackson (16-2, 11-1) to a 61-25 WesCo South rout of Mariner. The Timberwolves have lost only to Stanwood and 3A Lynnwood.
• Amanda Skalabrin had a season-high 16 points in ninth-ranked Woodinville's 70-23 KingCo 4A romp over Ballard. The Crown Division-leading Falcons are 17-2, 13-1.
• Seattle Prep (16-4, 13-3), ranked sixth in 3A, slipped past Holy Names 33-30 to remain atop the Metro Mountain Division.
