D.J. Fenner scored 33 points as second-ranked Seattle Prep beat No. 6 Franklin 74-64 Monday night in a matchup of Metro League boys basketball division leaders.

Fenner, a 6-foot-6 junior averaging 17.9 points, topped his previous season best by eight points.

The Panthers (17-2 overall, 14-1 Metro Mountain) won their 11th consecutive game since a 54-46 loss to Taft of Woodland Hills, Calif., in a tournament in San Luis Obispo, Calif., in December. Seattle Prep's only other loss was to Rainier Beach, the state's top-ranked Class 3A team.

Cody Russell scored 14 and Arell Hennings 13 to lead the Quakers (14-4, 11-2 Metro Valley).
