WIAA/Seattle Times State Athletes of the Week
State Athletes of the Week for Jan. 23-29, from nominations by athletic directors.

Class 4A
Braxton Ford, Moses Lake diving: Ford, a senior, broke school records with a six-dive score of 214 points and an 11-dive score of 389.
Kendra Morrison, Eastlake basketball: Morrison, a junior, averaged 20.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and two assists in four games.
Class 3A
Malik Barnes, Ingraham basketball: The 6-foot-4 junior forward had 33 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Bishop Blanchet, and 20 points and 15 rebounds in a loss to Cleveland.
Adrienne Palay, Bainbridge gymnastics: Palay, a senior, won the all-around (33.65), placed second on floor (9.250), first on beam (8.4) and bars (7.5) and tied for first on vault (8.5) against North Kitsap.
Class 2A
Sammi Jo Blodgett, Wapato basketball: Blodgett, a junior, totaled 56 points, 13 rebounds, nine steals and five assists in two wins. She scored 39 on 14-of-22 shooting in an overtime win against Grandview.
No boys nominated.
Class 1A
Deshawn Dunham, Omak wrestling: Dunham, a senior, led the Pioneers to their first league title with a pair of pins.
Carly Meister, Elma basketball: Meister, a junior, totaled 59 points, 36 rebounds, six blocks and four assists in victories over Rochester, Tenino and Forks.

Class 2B
Nate Bisson, Chief Leschi basketball: The Warriors' 6-5 junior had 26 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in a victory over South Bend.
Kendra Staymates, Riverside Christian basketball: Staymates, a junior, averaged 23 points and 8.5 rebounds for the Yakima school against Tri-Cities Prep and Moses Lake Christian.
Class 1B
Drew Conley, Christian Faith basketball: Conley, a senior, scored a career-high 40 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a victory over Eastside Prep. He also had 12 points, 13 rebounds eight blocks and five steals against Muckleshoot Tribal, and 13 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks against Quilcene in two more wins.
No girls nominated.
