Enumclaw

Coach: Phil Engebretsen (7th year)

Inside look: The deep and versatile Hornets are looking to become the first undefeated 3A championship team since Mount Vernon in 2001.
Rainier Beach

Inside look: The Wolverines will go as far as Aaron Bright can take them. He carries a team that replaced nine players from last year's third-place finishers.
Lakes
Location: Lakewood

Coach: JoJo Rodriguez (4th year)
Key players: G Andre Winston Jr., 6-3, Sr., 16.5 ppg; G Isaac Winston, 6-2, Jr., 8.3 ppg; C Zach Banner, 6-8, So., 7.3 ppg.
Inside look: Look out for the Lancers, who have been ranked in the top five all season. They face a tough first-round game with Franklin.
Shadle Park
Location: Spokane
Record: 20-4
Coach: Tim Gaebe (8th year)
Key players: G Robby Douglas, 6-2, Sr., 21 ppg; G Taylor Pettersen, 6-2, Sr., 9 ppg; F Brett Boese, 6-7, So., 12 ppg.
Inside look: Three of the Highlanders' four losses were to talented 4A teams. This veteran group could make deep tournament run.
Meadowdale
Location: Lynnwood
Record: 19-6
Coach: Chad McGuire (8th year)
Key players: C Connor Hamlett, 6-7, Sr., 19.8 ppg; G Sam Werner, 6-1, Sr., 10 ppg; G Riley Neff-Warner, 6-1, Sr., 5.9 ppg.
Inside look: The Mavericks rely on their big man inside. Hamlett must put Meadowdale on his back if he wants to upset top-ranked Enumclaw.

Franklin
Location: Seattle

Inside look: The Quakers are young and exciting. This team has unlimited potential for the future, but don't count them out of this year's tournament.
Glacier Peak
Location: Snohomish

Coach: Brian Hunter (2nd year)
Key players: G Brandon Hill, 6-2, Sr., 14 ppg; G Jack Bonner, 6-3, Jr., 13 ppg; G Nick Persha, 6-0, Sr., 11 ppg.
Inside look: The second-year school wants to make some noise in its first trip to state, and the Grizzlies have the players to make it happen.
Mount Rainier
Location: Des Moines
Record: 18-7
Coach: Brian Johnson (7th year)
Key players: F Bryce McPhee, 6-6, Sr., 14 ppg; G Cameron Harris, 6-2, Sr., 10 ppg; F Delvonte Aliifua, 6-3, Sr., 7 ppg.
Inside look: The Rams are making their fifth trip to state in the last seven years, heading into the tournament riding a four-game win streak.
Union
Location: Camas
Record: 15-9
Coach: Maco Hamilton (3rd year)
Key players: G Chris Morgan, 5-10, Sr., 16.2 ppg; F Kyle Holmes, 6-1, Jr., 6 rpg; F Caleb Whalen, 6-3, Jr., 8 ppg.
Inside look: The third-year school hopes to better last season's seventh-place finish.
O'Dea
Location: Seattle

Coach: Jerry Carr (1st year)
Key players: G Dustin Watts, 6-2, Jr., 14.5, G Devante Williams, 6-3, Jr., 14.4.
Inside look: The young Irish have battled through an emotionally taxing season and are one of the hottest teams heading into the tournament.
Foster
Location: Tukwila
Record: 16-8
Coach: Mike Broom (1st year)
Key players: F Darius Page, 6-8, Sr., 18 ppg; F Cameron Faison, 6-2, Sr., 16 ppg; W TreVaunte Williams, 6-4, Fr., 10 ppg.
Inside look: The Bulldogs are led by Page, who would like to better the team's eighth-place finish at state in 2009.
Bremerton
Location: Bremerton
Record: 16-7
Coach: Casey Lindberg (11th year)
Key players: G Jarell Flora, 6-2, Sr., 23.8 ppg; G Andre Coleman, 6-2, Jr., 15.5 ppg.
Inside look: Bremerton is making its first trip to state since placing fifth in 1999.
Franklin Pierce
Location: Tacoma

Coach: Stan Harris and Deon Moyd (9th year)
