Jake Heaps

For Heaps, the No. 1-ranked quarterback recruit in the nation by Rivals.com and Scout.com, the numbers speak for themselves. He finished his high-school career as a three-time state champion with a 40-2 record, throwing for 3,191 yards and 45 touchdowns his senior season.

Sione Potoa'e

Defensive lineman, 6-3, 285, Lakes (Lakewood) | Washington

Potoa'e was Lakes' first four-year varsity starter since 1963. The No. 4-rated defensive tackle in the nation (according to Scout.com) started on both sides of the ball for the Lancers and competed in this year's U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Potoa'e bench-presses 425 pounds, squats 705 and selected Washington over USC, UCLA, California, Oregon, Oregon State, Notre Dame, Louisiana State, Tennessee and others.

Colin Porter

Offensive lineman, 6-5, 310, Bothell | Washington

Washington has commitments from five offensive linemen, and Porter is one of the best in the group. Rated the No. 4 prospect in the state by Scout.com, Porter was a force for Bothell his senior season. He has the combination of size and athleticism that make him a versatile offensive-line prospect.

Chris Young

Linebacker/running back, 6-1, 215, Auburn | Washington

A dynamic hitter who established himself as a two-way threat this past season, Young can be an impact player on offense or defense. He broke school rushing records for a game (284 yards) and regular season (1,424), scoring 27 touchdowns in nine games (including a record-tying six in one). He is best known as one of the most feared hitters in the state.
