Class 4A
Alphonse Wade, Auburn football: Wade, a junior, rushed for 268 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-21 quarterfinal loss to Skyview. Both touchdowns were 62-yard dashes.
Tina Vargas, Skyline soccer: The sophomore goalkeeper made two saves in a 3-1 shootout win, the Spartans' third tiebreaker in four playoff games, as they beat Issaquah 2-1 for their second consecutive state title.
Class 3A
Nathaniel Penaranda, Union football: Penaranda carried 12 times for 200 yards and four touchdowns, all in the first half, in a 49-7 quarterfinal victory over Meadowdale.
Teagan Ryan, Columbia River soccer: Ryan made two saves in the shootout and stopped other shots in regulation and overtime in a 2-1 win over Mercer Island for the state title.
Class 2A
Jordan Hastings, Lynden football: Hastings carried 22 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns and passed for a TD in the Lions' 31-0 quarterfinal win over Sequim.
Sam Pettinger, Archbishop Murphy soccer: Pettinger scored twice to lead the unbeaten Wildcats past Sehome 3-1 in the semifinals, then had an assist to help secure a 2-0 victory over Cheney in the state-championship game.
Class 1A
Nick deGrasse, Nooksack Valley football: The Pioneers senior rushed 37 times for 239 yards and four touchdowns in a 54-47 quarterfinal win over King's.
Sierra Keeler, Seattle Academy soccer: Keeler had three goals and an assist as the Cardinals repeated as state champions with victories over Bush and Overlake. She had both Seattle Academy goals in the title win over Overlake.

Class 2B
Anthony Tatum, Adna football: Tatum led the Pirates to a 37-6 quarterfinal win against Napavine, making 12 tackles, rushing for 143 yards and adding 65 receiving yards.
Ashley Shaw, Seattle Lutheran soccer: The sophomore had four goals and an assist in a 6-2 victory over LaConner that gave the Saints third place at state.
Class 1B
