Third place — Frankie Pavia, Garfield, beat Ryan Killory, Garfield, 6-1, 6-2.
(VanGrunsven and Pavia play bi-district matches Saturday for state berths.)
DOUBLES
Championship (winner to state) — Steven Miyauchi-Zach Chen, Newport, beat Wilson Platt-Matt Cerf, Garfield, 6-2, 6-2.
Third place — Peter Killory-Ben Huppe, Garfield, beat Trevor Shih-Steven Bach, Inglemoor, 6-4, 6-2.
(Platt-Cerf and Killory-Huppe play bi-district matches Saturday for state berths.)
