Dylan Granard, Woodinville wrestling

Granard, a senior, was impressive in winning the 152-pound weight class at the Tahoma Mat Classic. After pinning his first two opponents, he won by technical falls in the semifinals (21-4) and finals (20-3) to earn the championship.

Erin Feeney, Jackson girls basketball

Feeney, a junior guard, scored 29 points for the second consecutive game to lift the Timberwolves to a 69-65 victory over Edmonds-Woodway, then ranked fifth in the state. She stole the ball and hit two free throws with 9.9 seconds remaining to clinch the win.

O'Dea boys basketball team

The Irish, coached by Phil Lumpkin, knocked off then-No. 2 Rainier Beach in overtime, 66-60. They followed with a victory over Ingraham — their fourth win in the past five games — to improve to 10-5.

Stars of the week are selected by The Seattle Times staff and published Tuesdays, but can be chosen only once each sports season. Nominations may be e-mailed by Sunday night to sports@seattletimes.com with name, school and accomplishments.
