Monroe High School's Kylin Munoz, the Gatorade State Player of the Year in volleyball, has announced she has asked for a release from her letter of intent to BYU and will seek admission to Washington.
In an email to Seattle-area media, the 6-foot-1 senior outside hitter listed "personal reasons" for her decision.
If she is not released from her letter of intent, Munoz would have to sit out a year and lose a year of eligibility before playing for another school.
