Prep Basketball Roundup | Kentwood girls reach finals of Nike basketball tournament in Oregon
Lindsey Moore scored 29 points as Kentwood High School beat Sacramento, Calif., 69-43 Friday night in the semifinals of the Nike Northwest Invitational girls basketball tournament.

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Lindsey Moore scored 29 points as Kentwood beat Sacramento, Calif., 69-43 Friday night in the semifinals of the Nike Northwest Invitational girls basketball tournament.
The Conquerors, who beat host Southridge 53-38 in their opener Thursday, advanced to the title game tonight at 8:15 against St. Mary's of Stockton, Calif., ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today and ESPN.
Sophomore forward Courtney Johnson added 18 points and Jessie Genger scored 13 for Kentwood, ranked fifth in the state in Class 4A.

At Auburn Riverside 77, Federal Way 60
The third-ranked Ravens survived 34 points by the Eagles' Tyshana Burgess in an SPSL 4A North win.
At Mercer Island 81, Bainbridge 77
Hailey Gullstad had 29 points as Mercer Island surprised fourth-ranked Bainbridge in a 3A game. Gullstad, a sophomore guard, hit 8 of 9 free throws and had eight assists and four steals. Janelle Chow added 16 points and Sarah Taylor and Kate Dapron had seven rebounds each for the unranked Islanders. Gonzaga recruit Brittany Gray scored 27 for Bainbridge.
Kennedy 80, at Hazen 30
Yasmine Fuller scored 20 for Kennedy, ranked No. 1 in 3A.
At Lakeside 59, Eastside Catholic 29
Kyra Ray and Whitney Best combined for 30 points for Lakeside, ranked third in 3A.

At Holy Names 67, Bishop Blanchet 43
Erika Johnson's 20 points led the Cougars, the No. 9-ranked 3A team.
Boys games
At Federal Way 75, Auburn Riverside 60
Top-ranked Federal Way trailed by a point at halftime before pulling away in an SPSL 4A North game. Cole Dickerson's 22 points led the Eagles. Dustin Hegge scored 18 for Riverside.
At Decatur 88, Spanaway Lake 48
Jerron Smith (21 points) and Jordan McCloud (18) led four Gators in double figures for No. 4 Decatur.
At Kentwood 68, Kent-Meridian 47
Joshua Smith, the Conquerors' 6-9 junior, had 32 points and 14 rebounds in No. 5 Kentwood's season debut.
At O'Dea 54, Bishop Blanchet 47
O'Dea, No. 5 in 3A, got balanced scoring to overcome Brian Matous' 19 points and Stephen Reinhart's 16 for Blanchet.

• Sophomore guard Gary Bell had 34 points in Kentridge's 77-66 boys victory over Kentlake.
• Marcel Pounds, coming off a 33-point game Tuesday, scored 31 as Bonney Lake's girls beat Timberline 63-61.
• Christina Meehan scored 26 in Newport's 68-59 girls win over Eastlake.
