Burdett, a senior midfielder, scored all three goals in a 3-2 win over Snohomish High on April 7. Two were on penalty kicks late in the second half to tie the game and give the Tomahawks the lead. The Campbell University, in Buies Creek, N.C., recruit followed with the lone goal in a 1-0 victory against Everett High last Wednesday, scoring on a free kick.

Seidlitz, a junior right-hander, tossed a two-hitter with 18 strikeouts and one walk to shut out Edmonds-Woodway High 8-0 on April 7. She followed with a 12-strikeout, no-walk one-hitter and also went 3 for 5 with two RBIs in a 9-1 win over Meadowdale High last Wednesday. In a 1-0 loss to Sedro-Woolley High Friday, Seidlitz threw a nine-strikeout four-hitter, allowing the one unearned run and no walks.

The Vikings, coached by Jeff Page, won their own Viking Classic for the third straight year Saturday, scoring 146 points to beat second-place Arlington High by 60.5. Lake Stevens won seven events and placed second in five. Two days earlier, the Vikings won 10 events to capture a three-team nonleague meet, scoring 98 points to defeat runner-up Jackson High by 35.
