Kayla Williams scored eight points in overtime as Ballard slipped past visiting Redmond 52-47 Friday night to claim a share of the KingCo 4A Mountain Division girls basketball championship.

The fourth-ranked Beavers (18-2 overall, 13-2 KingCo) rebounded from their loss to Roosevelt on Wednesday to tie the Roughriders for the division title. A coin flip today will determine which school gets the division's No. 1 seed in next week's Sea-King District tournament.

Ballard trailed 44-42 with 20 seconds left in regulation when Yordanos Kasahun hit a pair of free throws to force overtime.

Ballard's 6-foot-5 Jeanette Hansen had a season-high 18 points. Courtney Martin scored a game-high 25 for Redmond (15-6, 9-6), which also advances to the playoffs.

KingCo 4A

Eastlake 54, at Lake Washington 45

Ellie Martinez, a 5-9 junior, got nine of her season-high 26 points in the fourth quarter to help the Wolves (14-6, 9-5) hold off Lake Washington (11-9, 5-9) in a Lake Division finale. Both advance to next week's district tournament. Martinez, averaging 20 points in her past four games, lifted her season average to 12.5.

At Garfield 65, Franklin 57

Freshmen Cora McManus and DeAundreney Dillard-Brown had big games as the Bulldogs (6-14, 4-10 Lake) upset the Quakers (11-9, 7-7 Lake) to clinch the eighth and final KingCo playoff spot. In what could be the last conference game between the city rivals — Franklin is leaving KingCo 4A for the Metro League next school year — there were 60 fouls and 79 free throws. Garfield made 27 of 40 free throws, Franklin 20 of 39. McManus scored 17, and Dillard-Brown had 10 points and 13 rebounds.

At Juanita 52, Woodinville 41

Brianna Rinehart-Young, a 6-1 senior forward, got her 15th double-double this season with 13 points and 17 rebounds as the Rebels (9-11, 4-11) stopped Woodinville (8-13, 2-13) in a Mountain Division finale.

At Roosevelt 55, Bothell 30

Rachel Harris scored all of her 12 points in the first quarter as the Roughriders (17-3, 13-2 Mountain) built a 24-7 lead. Freshman Catherine Killian added 11 for playoff-bound Roosevelt. Mandy Saintz of Bothell (2-19, 1-14 Mountain) scored 13 in the Cougars' final game.

SPSL 4A

Kentlake 50, Spanaway Lake 26

At Jefferson, Morganne Comstock scored 15 points and the Falcons (11-11) had a 17-5 run in the third quarter against the Sentinels (8-13) in a game to decide the league's No. 9 and No. 10 seeds to the West Central District tournament.

At Jefferson 55, Rogers 49

Sophomore guard Hannah Kiyohara had a career-high 23 points as Jefferson (15-8) stopped Rogers (7-14). Kiyohara scored 12 of the Raiders' 19 points in the fourth quarter, when they rallied from a two-point deficit. Jefferson will be seeded seventh and Rogers eighth from the SPSL in next week's district tournament.

Seamount

At Kennedy 57, Renton 32

Third-ranked Kennedy (19-0, 14-0) completed an unbeaten regular season as Yasmine Fuller led three Lancers in double figures with 13 points. Renton (6-10, 5-9) finished tied with Highline for the league's fifth and final spot in next week's SPSL-Seamount subdistrict tournament.

At Lindbergh 64, Highline 23

Marcisa McMillan had another huge game with 17 points, 18 rebounds, eight steals and seven blocks, and Mandie Jaramillo hit four three-pointers and scored 16 points as Lindbergh (16-4, 11-3) rolled past Highline (5-15, 5-9). Lindbergh will play Mount Rainier in a tiebreaker playoff game Tuesday night for Seamount's No. 2 playoff seed.

At Mount Rainier 45, Hazen 41

Sophomore guard Marisa Blair helped slam the door with 11 of her 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Rams (14-5, 11-3) gained a share of second place in the league. Sarah Martinez added 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for Mount Rainier. Monica Nevi scored 12 for the fourth-place Highlanders (9-11, 8-6), who also advance to the playoffs.

At Evergreen 54, Tyee 35

In the final game for both schools, LeeAnna Mack hit 3 of 4 three-point shots and scored 15 points and Manuia Keni had 11 points and 14 rebounds as Evergreen (2-13, 2-12) beat Tyee (0-14, 0-14) for the second time. Leanna Van had a game-high 16 points for the Totems.

Emerald City League

At Bellevue Christian 44,

Seattle Academy 32

Michelle Teng had 17 points, four assists and three steals as the Vikings (14-3, 12-1) handed the Cardinals (14-4, 13-1) their first league defeat. Terra Oldham had 13 rebounds for BC.

Nisqually 1A/2B

Vashon Island 65, at Charles Wright 30

Zelda Porter hit five three-pointers in the first half and finished with 17 points, and Kelly Costello scored 16 as Vashon clinched a share of its first league title in 30 years. The unranked Pirates (14-6, 11-1) tied Seattle Christian for first.

Seattle Christian 72, at Orting 33

Melissa and Megan Collier combined for 28 points and 18 rebounds, and Tianna Homad scored 15 as the defending champion Warriors (16-4, 11-1) ended the regular season tied with Vashon for first place.
