Key questions

1. The edge in playoff experience goes to? The Seahawks. The Packers have played in more postseason games in the history of the franchises by far, but Seattle has been in the postseason five consecutive seasons while the Packers haven't been to the playoffs since the 2004 season. QB Brett Favre has appeared in 20 playoff games, but the Packers' active roster has a combined 94 games of experience while Seattle's has 240. Still, the Packers have won 12 championships, more than any team in league history. They are 24-14 all-time in the playoffs. At home in the postseason, the Packers are 14-2. The Seahawks' postseason record is 7-9, and 1-7 away from home. Favre ranks second in postseason history with 34 TD passes and is third with 4,902 yards.

2. Any ex-Seahawks playing for the Packers? Many will remember WR Koren Robinson, a former Seahawks first-round draft pick who dealt with alcoholism but has revived his career in Green Bay. Robinson had 21 catches for 241 yards and averaged 23.8 yards per kickoff return this season. Backup linebacker Tracy White started his career as an undrafted rookie with Seattle.

3. Is Green Bay's running game a big concern? In its last game, Green Bay collected 217 yards on the ground and just 177 through the air, the first time the team gained more rushing yards than passing yards all season. This had been a problem area for the Packers until Ryan Grant emerged midway through the season and had five 100-yard games from Week 8 on. Grant averaged 5.1 yards per carry this season.

4. How good is Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck in the postseason? Hasselbeck has the only two 300-yard passing games in team's postseason history, including 305 at Green Bay in 2004. He's also the team's all-time playoff leader in passing yards (2,017) and TDs (10).

5. Will this be Mike Holmgren's last game as Seahawks coach if Seattle loses? Hard to say, but Holmgren talked more about this topic this week than he has at the same time in other years.

Injury report

Seahawks: WR D.J. Hackett (ankle) is questionable. WR Deion Branch (calf), LB Niko Koutouvides (knee), S Mike Green (knee), DT Rocky Bernard (groin), DE Patrick Kerney (knee) and LB Kevin Bentley (illness) are probable.

Packers: CB Will Blackmon (foot) is doubtful. LB Nick Barnett (hamstring), DT Corey Williams (hamstring) and CB Charles Woodson (knee/toe) are probable.

Last game Seahawks: Seattle took a 13-0 lead, lost it early in the fourth quarter, then responded with 22 consecutive points to trounce the Washington Redskins 35-14 in an NFC wild-card game at Qwest Field last Saturday. QB Matt Hasselbeck overcame two interceptions and threw 20 yards to D.J. Hackett for a touchdown and two Seahawks — Marcus Trufant and Jordan Babineaux — had long interception returns for TDs. The Seahawks gained only 304 yards of offense, but shut out Washington for three quarters.

Packers: Green Bay defeated the Detroit Lions 34-13 at Lambeau Field in its regular-season finale Dec. 30. The Packers rested several starters, having already clinched the NFC's No. 2 playoff seed. QB Brett Favre led the Packers on three TD drives before exiting. WR Koren Robinson scored his first touchdown since serving a one-year suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, catching a pass from Favre. A TD pass from Favre to TE Bubba Franks caused Favre to slap hands with an official.
