Girls Basketball Roundup | Lakeside trips No. 9 Bainbridge in OT
Molly Levine hit five three-pointers and her Lakeside Lions pulled away in overtime for a 59-52 Metro League girls basketball victory over ninth-ranked Bainbridge Friday night at Lakeside.

Levine, a 5-foot-7 junior guard, was 5 of 8 from three-point distance and scored 18 points for Lakeside (4-1 overall, 4-0 Metro Mountain Division). Lions junior Sadie Mackay had 11 rebounds.
Brittany Gray, who led Bainbridge (4-1, 3-1) with 23 points, forced overtime with a putback basket with two seconds left in regulation. Anna Wood added 17 points for the Spartans.

At Seattle Prep 69, Blanchet 40
Prep's 6-2 Candace Chambers collected 18 points, nine rebounds and three blocks to power the No. 7 Panthers (4-1, 4-0) past the Braves (2-3, 1-3) in the Mountain Division.
At Holy Names 63, Eastside Catholic 25
Sophomore Chelsea Gonzales scored 14 points and Holy Names (3-3, 3-1) dominated Eastside Catholic (1-4, 1-3) in a Mountain Division game.
At Nathan Hale 55, Rainier Beach 47
The Raiders (7-1, 3-1) nearly wasted a 24-point lead before beating the Vikings (3-2, 2-2) in a Sound Division game. Brittany Nabors scored all of her 18 points in the second half to lead a comeback by Beach, which trailed 41-17.
Cleveland 49, at West Seattle 41

The Eagles (2-3, 1-3) took an eight-point lead in the first quarter and withstood comeback bids by West Seattle (0-5, 0-4). Brianne Goulet had a game-high 17 points, Whitney Elder scored 14 and Spencer Nickell grabbed 14 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Ingraham 42, at Chief Sealth 30
The Rams (2-4, 2-2) dashed to a 12-0 lead after one quarter and led 23-5 at halftime against the Seahawks (0-4, 0-4). Kylie Schoenbachler's 14 points for Sealth topped all scorers.
KingCo 3A
Issaquah 50, at Newport 47
Alyssa Shoji sank a pair of free throws with 7.6 seconds remaining as the second-ranked Eagles (5-0, 4-0) held off the No. 8 Knights (4-2, 3-1). Issaquah appeared in control, up by nine with three minutes left. But Newport reeled off an 8-0 run to trail 48-47. After Shoji's free throws, the Knights missed a potential game-tying three-pointer. Betsy Kingma of Newport scored a game-high 15 points. Freshman Maddey Pflaumer of Issaquah had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Mount Si 63, at Interlake 57
The Wildcats (3-4, 2-3) overcome monster double-doubles by Sarah Anderegg and Lauren Freidenberg of the Saints (2-6, 1-4). Freidenberg had 20 points and 21 rebounds. Anderegg had 23 points and 12 rebounds. Caitie Richards scored 17 and Symone Shaw had 15 for Mount Si, which sank 18 of 25 free throws.
Skyline 56, at Liberty 27
Skyline (5-2, 4-1) led by only nine at halftime before blowing Liberty (2-5, 0-5) away with a 20-3 run in the third quarter. Lindsey Perry scored 16 points and sophomore Kassia Fortier grabbed 10 rebounds for the Spartans.
At Bellevue 86, Sammamish 27
The Wolverines (4-1, 4-0) raced past the Totems (0-6, 0-4) to a 27-3 lead after one quarter. Jenika Swanson scored 16 and Alyssa Gilbert and Catelyn Webber each had 15 for Bellevue.

Auburn Mountainview 42, Sumner 40
Kristen Fausko buried the tiebreaking shot from the wing at the buzzer for the Lions (3-4, 2-1). The winning basket capped a hot second half for Fausko, a 5-9 senior who got 13 of her 20 points after halftime. Sumner (2-5, 0-2) had tied the score on a three-pointer with about 10 seconds left.
At Auburn 65, White River 52
Fifth-ranked Auburn (6-0, 3-0) got 19 points and 10 rebounds from Tera McCann-Soushek and 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists from Nneka Payne in a win over White River (1-3, 1-2). Paese Strickland added 16 points for the Trojans.
At Enumclaw 61, Franklin Pierce 42
Mara Koplitz got the Hornets (3-2, 2-1) off to a fast start with nine of her 21 points in the first quarter. She hit 7 of 17 shots and made six steals. Cristol Harris scored 16 for Franklin Pierce (1-6, 1-2).
Auburn Riverside 96, at Bonney Lake 50
The top-ranked Ravens (3-0, 3-0) stayed unbeaten with a lopsided win against the Panthers (3-4, 0-3).

Mount Rainier 64, at Highline 24
Mount Rainier (4-1, 2-0) knocked down six three-pointers in the first half while building a 41-6 lead against the Pirates (1-5, 1-1). Marisa Blair, Sarah Martinez and Melissa Yapp each had 13 points for the Rams.
At Kennedy 80, Hazen 53
Sixth-ranked Kennedy (4-0, 2-0) survived 14 first-half turnovers and ran away from Hazen (2-2, 1-1). Yasmine Fuller scored 19 points and Chelsea Lockart had 15 for the Lancers. Monica Nevi led Hazen with 16.
At Renton 70, Tyee 31
The Indians (2-1, 1-1) led 16-0 after one quarter and rolled. Kanisha Calcote's 14 points led three Renton players in double figures. Leanna Van of Tyee (0-2, 0-2) scored a game-high 16.
At Lindbergh 65, Evergreen 12
Marcisa McMillan, Lindbergh's 6-3 junior, had a triple-double (12 points, 15 rebounds, 10 blocks) as the Eagles (5-2, 1-1) overwhelmed the Wolverines (0-3, 0-2). Sarah Aylward led Lindbergh scorers with 13 points and had five steals and four assists.
