How the teams are selected: Star Times all-area teams are chosen by Seattle Times reporters, free-lancers and editors covering high-school sports. Selections must be from schools in King and Snohomish counties, or in the Metro, WesCo or SPSL 3A leagues.

Helped lead Jackson to Class 4A state playoffs and WesCo South Division title. The Timberwolves of Mill Creek made state in all of Kingma's seasons. Scored 22 goals and had seven assists for team that finished 15-2-1. Will play basketball for Washington.
