DUVALL — Cedarcrest pounded out 379 rushing yards and held sixth-ranked South Whidbey scoreless as the Red Wolves handed the Falcons their first defeat, 19-0 Friday night in a Cascade Conference contest.
Ninth-ranked Cedarcrest (7-1 overall, 6-1 league) joined South Whidbey (7-1, 5-1) in a tie for second place behind unbeaten Archbishop Murphy.
Cedarcrest finishes the regular season next week at Coupeville, while South Whidbey hosts Archbishop Murphy.
Brady Paxman rumbled for 187 yards on 12 carries, Darren Collinwood added 94 yards on 10 carries and Ernie Child had 98 yards on five carries for Cedarcrest.
The Red Wolves led 6-0 at halftime on Jonathon Kriegbaum's 25-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Collinwood had a 20-yard scoring run in the third quarter and Child scored on a 7-yard run in the fourth.
Cascade Conference
At Archbishop Murphy 46, King's 0
Archbishop Murphy (8-0, 6-0), ranked third in the state in Class 2A, capitalized on six turnovers by winless King's (0-8, 0-6). It was the 37th consecutive conference victory by the Wildcats, who have not lost in league since 2001. They finish the regular season next Friday at sixth-ranked South Whidbey, which suffered its first defeat Friday night at Cedarcrest. Alex Martinez and Ian Houts each ran for two touchdowns for Archbishop Murphy. The Wildcats had 348 rushing yards.
At Granite Falls 34, Sultan 28

Jullian Gamache pounded out 305 yards on 34 carries and scored consecutive touchdowns from 83, 60 and 10 yards to help the Tigers (4-4, 2-4) overcome an early deficit. Zach Beebe passed for a score and ran for one as the Turks (2-6, 2-4) led 14-7 in the first quarter.
At Coupeville 28, Lakewood 7
Dillon Hall returned an interception 32 yards for a score and carried 26 times for 117 yards as the Wolves (4-4, 2-4) knocked off the Cougars (2-6, 2-4). James Smith scored twice on 1-yard runs and Alex Evans (10 tackles) and Curtis Habeck (nine tackles) led a big defensive effort by Coupeville, which led 28-0 going into the fourth quarter.

West Seattle 48, Chief Sealth 13
At West Seattle Stadium, T.J. Lee ran 48 yards for a touchdown and Juston Leverett followed with scoring runs of 68 and 56 yards in a 34-point first quarter by the Eagles (4-4, 4-1). Schuyler Taylor's 22-yard fumble return for a TD had put the Seahawks (2-5, 2-3) ahead in the opening minutes. Lee and Aaron Grymes each ran for two touchdowns for West Seattle, the Sound Division runner-up.

Steilacoom 49, at Foster 16
Jessie Newhouse scored on runs of 50, 3 and 10 yards as the Sentinels (5-3, 3-0) rolled past the Bulldogs (2-6, 0-3). Steilacoom hosts Fife next Friday to settle the league championship.
Fife 26, at Eatonville 7
Tyler Cardin scored all four touchdowns for the Trojans (6-2, 3-0) against the Cruisers (3-5, 2-2).

Christian Faith 24, at Chief Leschi 6
Freshman Tyler Savini ran for two touchdowns and intercepted three passes, returning one 65 yards for a score for the Eagles (6-2, 4-1). Kameron Hillstrom had 106 rushing yards, Sebastian Petry intercepted two passes and Cameron Savini had 70 rushing yards in only one quarter for Christian Faith.
