Nathan Hale hit 8 of 9 free throws in the fourth quarter as the Raiders stunned fourth-ranked Chief Sealth 56-49 in a Metro League boys basketball game at Hale Tuesday night.
Chief Sealth (15-3 overall, 12-3 league), which knocked off third-ranked Rainier Beach 72-63 Monday night, fell into a tie with the Vikings for the Sound Division lead. Sealth and Beach meet again at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Rainier Beach in the final regular-season game for both.
Wyatt Taboh-Graziano, a 6-foot-7 senior, scored 20 points and was 6 of 7 at the foul line for Hale (11-9, 6-9).

Jared Stohl got 21 of his 27 points in the second half and Nathan Lozeau had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the No. 8 Tomahawks (16-3, 12-3) rolled in the North Division. Ricky Holm scored 14 for M-P. Cole Carpenter scored 14 and was 8 of 8 at the free-throw line for Arlington (3-16, 3-12).
Snohomish 50, at Lake Stevens 37
The No. 6 Panthers, the North champions, led by only four going into the fourth quarter before pulling away thanks to Lake Stevens turnovers. Kegan Bone had 17 points and four three-pointers for Snohomish (18-1, 14-1), which has one regular-season game left. Brett Dvorak led the Vikings (13-6, 11-4) with 16 points.

Senior guard Jake Mattson, averaging only 9.2 points, tossed in a season-high 29 and hit 15 of 18 free throws to lead the Seagulls (5-14, 5-10) to an upset win in the North over the Spartans (13-7, 11-5).

Junior guard John Allen hit seven three-pointers, scored 31 points and had five assists to lead the Hawks (7-12, 6-9) to a WesCo South win. Terrace shot 65 percent (32 of 49) from the field. Jerrel Grant's 15 points led Mariner (11-7, 10-5).
At Lynnwood 49, Shorecrest 48, OT
Spencer Hunsinger hit a critical three-pointer in the final minute and Andrew Beatty had 14 points and five assists as the Royals (4-16, 3-13) outlasted the Scots (7-11, 4-11) in overtime in the South. Yev Zuyev's 15 points topped Shorecrest.

Jamie Eisinger got half of his 16 points in the first quarter, when the Timberwolves (14-5, 12-3) raced to a 21-5 lead against the Thunderbirds (2-17, 2-13) in the South.

Aaron Dotson and Duntae Jones each scored 19 points and Jade Collier, a 6-9 senior, controlled the paint with 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Bulldogs (7-9, 6-5) snapped a seven-game win streak by the Wolves (11-6, 8-4). Keaton Hayenga scored 20, Corey O'Connor 15 and Winslow Lee 13 for Eastlake.

Sophomore guard Richard Woodworth went 6 of 6 at the foul line in the fourth quarter and finished with 17 points and eight rebounds as the Knights (10-6, 9-4) handed the Islanders (14-4, 11-3) their second loss in three games. Collin Bennett added 16 points for Newport. Leroy Lutu and Matt Schut each had 14 for Mercer Island.
