Lara Sreibers

Kamiak girls swimming

Sreibers, a senior, set two school records in winning the 200-yard freestyle (1 minute, 55.77 seconds) and 500 free (5:05.68) at the Mukilteo Invitational on Saturday. Her 400 free relay team also posted a state-qualifying time. In a victory over Edmonds-Woodway on Sept. 26, Sreibers won the 100 butterfly and swam on all three winning relays. In a win against Shorecrest on Thursday, she recorded state-qualifying times in the 50 free, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.

Isaac Molstre

Lake Stevens football

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound junior tailback rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 35-17 win over Marysville-Pilchuck on Friday. Molstre scored on runs of 6, 25 and 27 yards.

Mariner football team

The Marauders, coached by John Ondriezek, tied the score in the final minute and went on to defeat Snohomish 27-21 in overtime on Friday. Quarterback Tyler Tuiasosopo threw to Michael Johnson for a 37-yard touchdown with 10 seconds left in regulation, then scored the winning TD on a 1-yard keeper in OT. The Mariner defense held on to secure the victory in the Kansas tiebreaker format.
