Roundup: Inglemoor holds off W. Valley for Holiday Hoops title

ELLENSBURG — Inglemoor used its size to advantage as 6-footers Sara Ena and Ashley Brown combined for 40 points in a 56-47 victory over West Valley of Yakima Thursday night for the championship of the Holiday Hoops Classic.

The Class 4A Vikings (6-1) from Kenmore completed a 3-0 run through the tournament with the victory over West Valley, the state's fourth-ranked 3A team. Inglemoor beat Hermiston, Ore., and Ellensburg to reach the championship game.

Ena, a junior, had 25 points and 12 rebounds and was 14 of 17 from the free-throw line. Brown, a senior, had 15 points and a dozen rebounds.
