Prime prospects
Tavita Pritchard QB, 6-4, 180, Sr., Clover Park Led Seamount in passing last season and has solid group of receivers back this year. One of the state's top quarterback recruits, already has a scholarship offer from Stanford. Erich Williams QB, 6-2, 195, Sr., Lakes Last year's first-team all-division QB is back to lead the high-scoring Lancers offense. Keeping with the Lakes tradition, Williams will throw often, but he did lose a big group of receivers from last year's team.
Mike Fuaau
The league's top linebacker will anchor the defense for first year coach Chris Nofo, a former CFL linebacker from Mount Tahoma. On offense, he'll be expected to dish out more punishment to would be tacklers. Rising stars Justin Gran QB/S, 5-10, 170, Jr., White River Took handoffs from his brother Jason last year, but this year will be expected to lead the Hornets from the quarterback position. Jesse Cedarland QB, 6-0, 185, Sr. Peninsula One of league top receivers last year, Cedarland, will move behind center this year having been groomed as the successor to Mike Roncevich. Key game Clover Park at Lakes Nov. 29, 7 p.m., Harry Lang Stadium Last year, Warriors ended rival Lakes' 45-game regular-season win streak in 42-21 stunner. This year's game will feature two of area's best QBs and could have big playoff implications.
