Flu shot clinics UW Medicine The eight UW Medicine Neighborhood Clinics in King County are now accepting appointments from new patients for flu immunizations. To make an appointment, patients should call 1-800-852-8546. For more information, maps and directions, visit www.uwmedicine.org. Public Health -- Seattle & King County Flu shots are now available by appointment at King County's nine Public Health centers. Public Health recommends that at-risk adults first call their health-care provider to see whether they have flu vaccine. If not, then individuals may access one of the public flu shot clinics by calling the Flu Hotline at 206-296-1100 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Visit http://www.metrokc.gov/health/immunization/fluseason.htm for information about the flu season and vaccine availability. The "Flu Shot Shuttle" leaves daily from Port Townsend, Port Hadlock, Port Ludlow, Port Angeles, Sequim and neighboring towns, and includes a ride on the 8:20 a.m. sailing of the M.V. Coho from Port Angeles to Victoria, a tour of the city, transport to the clinic, return on the 4 p.m. sailing of the Coho and bus transportation back to your starting point. Pennco Transportation also picks up in Seattle (Clarion Hotel, 4 a.m.) and Tacoma (Amtrak Station, 4:30 a.m.). The one-day excursion rate is $95 U.S. per person plus $15 for the flu shot.
