Second trial in Jewish Federation shooting under way
Naveed Haq, whose first trial ended in a mistrial last year, is accused of barging into the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle on July 28, 2006, and killing one woman and wounding five others. Haq has pled innocent by reason of insanity.

Everett police are investigating a shooting this morning around 1 at a home in the 600 block of 93rd Street Southwest. The victim, a 23-year-old man, tells police that a man broke into his home and shot him several times.

A 20-year-old Tumwater man is scheduled to make his initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Tacoma tomorrow afternoon on charges that he and two others hacked into Comcast's Web site and disrupted Internet service a year and a half ago, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
