Mini-golf with an artsy spin at Kirkland Arts Center

Mini-golf meets conceptual art at the "KAC Links Invitational," a nine-hole putting course designed and built by a dozen Northwest artists at the Kirkland Arts Center.
SuttonBeresCuller's "Pigeonholed" spans two stories with a lengthy ramp. Ben Hirschkoff and Jason Wood's "7 Ways to Enjoy Washing The Dishes" is constructed around a variety of household fixtures — including a kitchen sink.
Visitors may play for free 11 a.m.-5 p.m. this Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays through July 29. Or make a night of it at the Links Invitational Summer Party, 6-9 p.m. Saturday night. The party costs $25 per person and includes live music by artist Whiting Tennis and his band.
