Here is the listing of men and women golfers with Washington ties who have tour status entering the season:

Men

PGA Tour

Fred Couples: Seattle native exempt on PGA Tour because he is in top 25 in career earnings (20th with $19.6 million). Has made six of eight cuts this year but his streak of making the cut at Masters ended at 23.

Jeff Gove: Inglemoor High School grad lost his automatic exemption on PGA Tour by finishing 144th on money list, but has played in six events. Finished tied for 13th Sunday in EDS Byron Nelson Championship. He missed five previous cuts.

Ryan Moore: Pride of Puyallup lost playoff at EDS Byron Nelson Championship Sunday and it was his fourth second-place PGA Tour career finish. Still looking for first win in his fourth year on Tour. Had one of greatest amateur careers in U.S. golf history.

Kirk Triplett: Pullman High grad recovering from November shoulder surgery and could rejoin Tour this summer. Fully exempt after winning 2006 Chrysler Classic of Tucson.

Nationwide Tour

Brock Mackenzie: Ex-Husky (Yakima) is 0 for 5 making cuts on Nationwide Tour this year. Fully exempt status on Nationwide after finishing 53rd on the 2007 Nationwide money list with $118,247.

Alex Prugh: Ex-Husky (Spokane) has conditional status on Nationwide Tour after finishing tied for 80th at qualifying school. The two-time All-American from Spokane has made five of six cuts on the Nationwide and is No. 60 on the money list.

Michael Putnam: From Tacoma, he is 32nd on Nationwide Tour money list and has made five of six cuts. Has conditional status on Nationwide after finishing 158th on PGA Tour money list last year with $422,359.

Women

LPGA Tour

Jimin Kang: King's High School (Shoreline) grad has made six of eight cuts this year and has one top 20 finish. She is fully exempt on LPGA Tour after finishing 42nd on 2007 money list with $304,609.

Wendy Ward: Resident of Lincoln County outside Spokane has made all seven cuts this year. Fully exempt after finishing 56th on money list with $224,452 in 2007.

Louise Friberg: Ex-Husky (2000-03) from Sweden surprised golf world by winning LPGA event in Mexico in March. Friberg got her Tour card by finishing ninth at qualifying school.

Paige Mackenzie: Ex-Husky (Yakima) has conditional status after finishing 118th on money list last year with $49,104. Has played in three tournaments this year and has made two cuts.

Jennifer (Stapleton) Greggain: Puyallup High School grad played for Huskies from 1997-99 and has conditional status on LPGA Tour based on qualifying school finish. She missed cut in one LPGA start and withdrew after one round of another.

Futures Tour

• Anastasia Kostina (ex-WSU Cougar from Russia)

• Jenna Moore (Renton native won two state junior titles)

• Mary Kate Morgan (ex-Gonzaga golfer from Longview)

• Kim Welch (won 11 tournaments at WSU)

Legends Tour

JoAnne Carner: LPGA Hall of Famer from Kirkland has committed to play in this senior tour for women that begins in June.
