MORELIA, Mexico — Lorena Ochoa shot her second consecutive 7-under-par 66 Friday to take a one-stroke lead in the Corona Championship and move closer to becoming the youngest player to qualify for the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame.

"It was a great day," said the 26-year-old Ochoa, who is the top-ranked player in the world. "No bogeys. I enjoyed that very much."

Inbee Park was second after a 64 that tied the course record set by Ochoa in 2006 and 2007.

Park, who is from South Korea, said she was eager to play alongside fan favorite Ochoa today.

"I've always wanted to, but never got a chance to because she always plays in the last group and I never do," said Park, who was at 13 under.

Ochoa took the Kraft Nabisco Championship on Sunday for her second consecutive victory in a major tournament. She has 20 LPGA Tour victories.

If Ochoa wins this event, she will earn the last of the 27 points needed to qualify for the Hall of Fame. The LPGA Tour awards one point for every victory and major award and two points for a major-tournament victory. Ochoa must play a total of 10 years on the LPGA Tour before she is eligible for the Hall of Fame, a goal she would reach in the 2012 season.

Paige Mackenzie (71), an ex-Washington Huskies standout from Yakima, was tied for 45th at 150.

Note

• An 85-year-old, legally blind golfer made a hole-in-one this week on a par-3 course in Green Valley, Ariz. Robert Dunham's volunteer assistant lined him up with the ball, handed him a 9-iron and stepped back.

"I thought they were kidding me," Dunham said of his reaction to the hole-in-one. "I told them, 'You guys better not be pulling my leg.' "
