Seattle Beer News | Russian River Pliny the Younger and Black Raven Wisdom Seeker Double IPA coming soon
Seattle Beer News
This is a great time of year for hop-heads. Russian River just released their 11% ABV Pliny the Younger, which is the bigger brother of their uber-popular Pliny the Elder double IPA. While it is currently pouring at the brewery in California, we probably won’t see the beer at Seattle accounts until sometime next week, at the earliest. As always, it will be very limited, a lot of people will want to get in on it, and what little of the beer each account has will go quickly. For those of you hunting this beer, Twitter is your friend. Do not constantly call bars asking if they have it; they don’t enjoy that.
To combine for an ultra-powerful, mega-hoppy 1-2 punch, Black Raven Brewing will release their Wisdom Seeker Double IPA on Tuesday, February 15, at the brewery in Redmond. This 9% ABV is just as buzz-worthy as Pliny the Younger. If you are looking for a preview, they will pour a cask of Wisdom Seeker today at 4pm for their Oostkant Cask Crawl.
