Wednesday, October 25, 2006 - Page updated at 12:00 AM Recipe: Maple Pecan ToppingEnough for one 9-inch pie - 1 egg - ¼ cup light brown sugar - 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted - 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans - 1 tablespoon brandy or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix with a spoon until thoroughly blended.
