Hi, Hotdogs are simply Junk food ask your Dr. Stan
I know it sounds disgusting, but I love to put cream cheese on my hot dog bun...it's like the most delicious mayonnaise ever! Hebrew National on a quality bun, with plain old yellow mustard and chopped white onion. Can't beat sublime simplicity, sigh... Costco dog, quality bun, mustard, onion, pickle, totmato wedge, cheese slice are all OK...NEVER! ketchup!
Just plain ol' yellow mustard...and plenty of it!
1st up: Cream Cheese spread on both sides of the bun (a must). Then, ketchup on one side and mustard on the other side. Next up, dill or sweet relish. And over the top - shredded carrots. Yum.
My favorite hot dogs always include yellow mustard, sauerkraut and cream cheese!
I like my hebrew national hotdog with mustard, ketchup, onions, relish, and a little sauerkraut! I also like cream cheese, onions, mustard and the kraut as well...mmmmm yum.
ketchup, mustard, relish and then ketchup on the side of the plate for dipping! YUM!

Dressing...Schmessing. You have to start out with a good dog (Hebrew National or Nathan's preferred — Costco's Polish dogs are okay too). Then don't muck it up. Plain bun. Yellow mustard and sweet onions (Walla Walla or Texas Sweets). YUM.
I'm a native Southerner (from Tennessee). The SE Tennessee way to eat a hot dog is with cole slaw (called a "slaw dog"). My personal favorite way to eat a hot dog is with mustard and slaw. If I'm feeling really adventurous, I like mustard, chili and slaw. The mix of salty (dog), sour (mustard) and sweet (slaw) is perfect. The slaw gives the dog a nice crunchy texture, too.
