Recipe: Virgin Mary

Serves 1

- Ice

- ¾ cup tomato juice

- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce

- Pinch celery salt

- Pinch fresh ground black pepper

- Salt to taste

- Optional: ½ teaspoon prepared horseradish

- Celery stalk with leaves or lime wedge for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, celery salt, pepper, salt and horseradish, if using. Close shaker and shake ingredients about 15 to 20 seconds, or until cold. Strain into a tall glass and garnish.
